Mr. John Musinguzi Rujoki is a multi-award winning Ugandan mathematician and corporate executive who serves as the Commissioner-General of the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), effective 2 April 2020. He was born in Rubirizi, Uganda circa 1973. After attending local primary school, he was admitted to Ntare School, for both his O and A levels.
Amb. Francis K. Butagira is a Managing Partner of Butagira and Company Advocates and as well as an Advocate of the Supreme Court and Courts subordinate. Previously, Amb. Butagira served in various capacities in the international political community and in Uganda. He has served as Member of Parliament and Speaker of the Ugandan Parliament.
Mr. Morrison Rwakakamba is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Uganda Investment Authority. He is the former Global Senior Director of Policy at Fenix International, a company of ENGIE and Vice President of Global Off-Grid Lighting Association. He has is the founding CEO at Agency for Transformation, a think and do tank on agriculture, energy and environmental policy.
Robert Mukiza is the Director General of UIA. Prior to joining the Authority, Robert served as the Deputy Director for the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) and Representative to Ethiopia, the AU and UNECA. Robert also served as a Director of Hong Kong-based Acadia Energy; Head of the UN Country Team Coordination Unit in Botswana.
Ms. Nwanne Vwede-Obahor is the UNDP's Resident Representative for Uganda. In this position she represents, leads, and is accountable for harnessing and directing the full potential of UNDP’s capabilities and associated partnerships, in support of national development goals and strategies in Uganda.
Prior to this, Ms. Vwede-Obahor served as the Director Program and Team Leader of the Implementation Support Unit for the UN Integrated Strategy for the Sahel (UNISS) in the Office of the UN Special Coordinator for Development in the Sahel. She has also served as the Regional Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for East Africa, as well as the OHCHR Representative to the African Union and UN Economic Commission for Africa.
